Funding Fellowships is at the heart of the Friends of MacDowell, our community of arts supporters who believe that The MacDowell Colony is a place where artists can make brave new work. Members enjoy exclusive experiences within the arts; discover contemporary artists in intimate, curated programs; and gain insider access to art scenes around the world.
By funding Fellowships we sustain MacDowell as a national center with a global view of creativity and multidisciplinary dialogue. Anyone who supports a Fellowship annually at the following levels is eligible for memberships for one or two people (all-inclusive except where noted).
The Young Friends of MacDowell is a community of supporters under 45 years of age whose contributions support emerging artists and first-time residencies. Young Friends also enjoy art experiences across our seven disciplines, including access and interaction with artists in social settings.
