Wyatt Williams’ work has been published by Bon Appetit, Oxford American, The Paris Review, The Collagist, Vice, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. He is a restaurant critic for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

At MacDowell, Williams completed several sections of a non-fiction book about meat. A story from the manuscript, National Burden, was published in the New York Times Magazine while he was in residence.

Studios

Wood

Wyatt Williams worked in the Wood studio.

Wood Studio, given to the residency program by Mrs. Frederick Trevor Hill, was completed in 1913 in memory of Mrs. Hill’s mother, Helen Ogden Wood. Like Schelling Studio, the building is sided with large, overlapping pieces of hemlock bark.
