Romy Achituv is an interdisciplinary artist currently based in Brooklyn, NY. His diverse experimental practice incorporates a wide array of media including street posters, photographs, video, interactive and generative projections and applications, sculpture, and performance.

The public dimension is integral to Achituv's work. His large-scale installations have included socially engaged participatory projects, sculptural projections integrated with architecture and landscape, and public commissions focused on cultural memory. Underlying his practice is an ongoing engagement with the boundaries and transgressions of language and representation.

Heinz

Romy Achituv worked in the Heinz studio.

The icehouse, built of fieldstone in 1914–1915, was a practical part of Marian MacDowell’s plan for a self-sufficient farm.
