Robert Adzema is an American visual artist who works with two things: sundials and watercolors, feeling that the freedom of watercolors offsets the necessary mathematical precision involved in making sundials. Originally trained in watercolor, he co-authored a book about sundial making and has made the devices a part of his sculpture work ever since. His pieces have been displayed in public collections as well as numerous solo exhibitions.
