Neil Mendoza has exhibited work and spoken at conferences around the world, taught classes on art and technology at UCLA and Stanford and co-founded the art collective “is this good?”

While at MacDowell, he worked on a series of kinetic artworks that examine human interaction with the natural world while bridging the gap between the physical and the digital. The pieces were included in the group show "Festival of the Impossible" at the Chandran Gallery in San Francisco in 2019.

Heinz

Neil Mendoza worked in the Heinz studio.

The icehouse, built of fieldstone in 1914–1915, was a practical part of Marian MacDowell’s plan for a self-sufficient farm.
