Joyce Kozloff is an esteemed artist who’s politically engaged work has been based on cartography since the early 1990s. She earned an M.F.A from Columbia and a B.F.A. from Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh. She also boasts grants and fellowships from Yaddo, Dianne Wood Middlebrook, the Rockefeller Foundation, the NEA, the American Academy in Rome, and MacDowell. She has exhibited all over the world from Italy, to New York, to New Mexico, and beyond.
