Joyce Abrams has worked in many different disciplines, from painting and drawing to photography and film. Much of her early life was spent travelling, and her exposure to a variety of cultures is evident in her work. Her diverse pieces have been exhibited in numerous venues the world over. She has received fellowships from The Japan Foundation, the Corporation of Yaddo, and MacDowell.
