Elisabeth Subrin is a filmmaker and video/installation artist. She's working on a project about the late French actress Maria Schneider. Her most recent film, A Woman, A Part, starring Maggie Siff, Cara Seymour, and John Ortiz, was released theatrically this past spring. She has received grants and fellowships from The Guggenheim, Rockefeller, Annenberg, Creative Capital Foundations and The Sundance Institute, and is an associate professor in film and media arts at Temple University.

Elisabeth Subrin worked in the Adams studio.

Given to the MacDowell Association by Margaret Adams of Chicago, the half-timbered, stuccoed Adams Studio was designed by MacDowell Fellow and architect F. Tolles Chamberlin ca. 1914.
