Cordelia is a playwright and librettist. She is the recipient of the 2020 Berwin Lee Award and the 2017 Harold Pinter Commission. Her opera, with composer Sivan Eldar, Like Flesh, won the 2021 Fedora Opera Prize.

Some of her plays include Love and Other Acts of Violence, fragments, One for Sorrow, Confessions, and Best Served Cold. Some of her operas include Like Flesh and Miranda. Her vocal work includes After Arethusa, Houses Slide, A Photograph, and you’ll drown, dear.

At MacDowell in 2018, she completed the first draft of a play called Sea Creatures. The play explores themes of loss, grief, and memory interwoven with sea mythology and folklore from the British Isles.

During her 2022 Fellowship, she completed the first draft of Witch (working title), a commissioned play from Headlong Theatre Company.

Given to the residency by the Monday Music Club of Orange, NJ, Monday Music Studio is sited next to an enormous boulder deposited by glaciers thousands of years ago.
